A beautiful deep garnet wine falls from the bottle to my waiting glass. The aroma is delicious. Smells of spice and red currant hit my nose. A faint note of pepper lingers in the air. Upon swirling the wine in my glass, the scent becomes more complex - adding cherries, mocha and something else I can't put my finger on. Is it chestnut? Or plum? I swirl again, bring the glass to my lips for my first taste...
It is delicious. Quickie has all the spiciness of a Shiraz, yet it is semi-sweet. Almost jammy like a zinfandel. Flavors of plum, red berries and mocha dance around my mouth. Pepper seems to tap dance around for minutes. A superb lingering finish to a wine I've been dying to get into my glass. Well worth the wait. And the price.

Dark red. Spicy red berries and cherry on the nose, lifted by sexy baking spices and minerals. Dry, focused and pure, showing an impressive array of red fruit flavors and bright minerality. Lively red currant and strawberry define the long, tangy finish. An amazing bargain.
